COSMOS CERTIFICATIONS: WHAT IS IT?
It entered into force internationally on 1 September 2009 COSMOS , the new standard of organic and natural cosmetics . COSMOS is the result of a long journey of study and sharing among the principals certification bodies such as the Italian ICEA, the French ECOCERT and COSMEBIO, the German BDIH and the English SOIL ASSOCIATION; establishing in the EU the common requirements for organic and natural cosmetics .
COSMOS provides two types of certification for beauty and skin care products: COSMOS ORGANIC and COSMOS NATURAL which will appear under the logo of the body that certifies them. The former is more difficult to obtain than the latter, as it has more specific parameters within which to fall as the use of specific quantities of components from organic farming.
NATURAL COSMETICS: WHAT IS CERTIFIED
CosmosNatural certifies cosmetic products and raw materials for cosmetics ensuring compliance with the main standard international standard for cosmetic products, the COSMOS standard.
In Italy CEA/COSMOS certifies cosmetic products and their raw materials, guaranteeing their origin and giving priority organic ingredients , based on environmental sustainability criteria.
THE COSMOS NATURAL CERTIFIED LINE BY DOCTOR REYNALDI
